Body 'Party' - Smize It

There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful than a woman being unapologetic-ally herself;comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me,that is the true essence of beauty. - Dr. Steve Maraboli -

They say that little things however small mean a great deal. The way i see it,confidence and a smile seem to be small but so great a problem that is under-looked.Numbers and statistics are my problem,i cannot seem to get any of that right. However,i can write :-D :-D.

The weighing scale is my scare. My fault, because the numbers define who i am. I should not talk in high tones and i should not walk with my head so high, lest i will be the mock of all.I am making baby steps. Can you see them?No...because they are too little to count. The world sees that...

This is how i see it:

Your worth is not defined by your weight or the number on the weighing scale.Your heart and your personality are key. They are the only things that matter.Being in the wonderful plus side of life,it is okay to be silent and be vain.

You will be lying to yourself because the reflection you see at the mirror is phat. There is only one fine you.Settling for less is not for the phat neither should any being;tall or short, thin or thick look down on themselves. There will be days of course when you focus on your flaws, but there have been better days.

It is okay to fall in love with yourself. To smize it and flaunt the curves. To walk head high and shun any negative thought.Lets be honest, society will give advice for the petite figure and will go on and on to shun the thick madame...they will never look at you in a positive role model perception if you don't show them. Loving, accepting, having a body party of confidence infront of the mirror and smizing it,is all there is.That has been my secret.

Of course they will not get it.Words have never killed and no one can make you inferior without your consent.Your body 'party' confidence comes from embracing who you are and while you are it smile.Sit up straight.Lift your head up.Lift your eyes.Put a spring in your step.Act like you would act if you were the most confident person, successful and joyful...if anything Be You.

Confidence at any size is beautiful;we all have our good and bad days but the key is to record the good and awesome body 'party' smized days.

Your turn...what does confidence mean to you?

Live large,smize and love you!!
xoxo

No person's weight or size defines their worth. EVER. The world may try to show and tell you this is true, and many people may believe it, but it is a LIE. Your personality matters. Your heart matters. I'd much sooner be fat than a superior arsehole going through life judging other people as 'less than' to make myself feel better. Things that define me are kindness, my ability to love, my sense of humour, my filthy laugh, my love of animals, my belief that equality should be universal, my taste in music and my unhealthy obsession with Jason Momoa. The size of my arse? Truly immaterial in the grand scheme of things.

You are enough, just as you are. You are worthy. You are loveable. You deserve all good things just as anyone else does.

It's OK to like yourself, really. It's even better to love yourself, and believe me when you have a non-normative body and you love yourself, it really puts a kink in people's piss pipes. They might not 'get' it, and that might mean as little as a quizzical look on their face as you sashay by full of awesomeness. They might not get it and this may mean they try to kill your enthusiasm for your love of self with shitty words. This speaks volumes of them and nothing of you.

It's OK to be vain. I love myself. I look in the mirror and think 'I would!' Of course there are days when I don't like what I see, but there are far many more when I take into account all my so-called flaws (as society would have me see them) and I still think 'Damn, you fineeeee.' Hahaha. - See more at: http://www.justmeleah.co.uk/2014/06/confidence-as-plus-size-woman.html#sthash.HY7mGGun.dpuf

  1. Confidence is being unafraid of what others think or feel about you.
