Quick Review : My Curvy Word Radar

Happiness isn't size specific.
- Unknown.

Women with curves have been admired for centuries openly and secretly. The allure of a confident curvy lady is truly unmatched to anything in the world.

As i type these words, i can't help but notice how each letter has it's own unique curve. Harmonious, flowy and beautiful like the melodious notes played on a ukelele. I have imaginary beats playing in my head already - long reign dear curves!! We are unique and different; our self confidence in everything we do is what matters.

Curves, big, thick madame, round, phat, curvy....the list is endless; welcome to my curvy A to Z. Grab a cup of hot coffee, long post alert.

Assertive - Whatever we put our mind in to we do it to the very best of our abilities. The confidence and allure is irresistible.

Barrel of laughter - Curvy girls run the world and they know it.
Laughter is our best accessory. My favourite celebrities being my crew (Plus Fabulosity).

Chubby and curvy - Classic and gorgeous is what curves are all about. We the fabulous clique, need i say more?

Daydreamers -  Every major project begins from a dream. It could be a far way coming but baby steps is still progress, right?

Ebullient - Killing all the negative vibe of laziness, plus size women are full of energy. If we put our mind to any given task, we do it vigorously and to its very best.

Futurist - Positive attitude and action are foods for the future.

Game changers - We are the revolutionist. The fashion game has slowly changed. More and more curvy ladies are embracing their bodies and using their experience over the years through blogs, fashion and many other social platforms to create positive body awareness.

Hearty - Boisterous and hearty, because life is too short to stay grumpy.

Ineffable - I doubt there will ever be enough words to describe curves. Curves are imperfectly flawed. Curves oh curves. Curves are beautiful.

Joyous - Jubilation for having a home full of self love, peace and beauty -  this soul and body we call home. Of all other hiccups, curves sure ain't one of them, right?

Kindle - I have been plus size all my life, but every time i think or see a plus size person embracing their curves positively my heart quivers with joy.

Loquacious/ talkative - That the only way we know best. The more the talk the more networks you get.

Majestic -  Because the curve halo is just but magnificent.

Ne plus ultra - This is what i know. No. This is what the rule should always be. 30, 40, 60 is not what we are worth. If it is not the full of the fraction, let the feet do the walking. If it is not good, we move on.

Orderly - There is nothing as peaceful as tracking your steps. True freedom is impossible on the face of the earth without a mind made free by discipline. Despite the definition 'plus size' it is good and healthy to be self disciplined. Feed on the right type of foods in portions and also exercise a lot.

Positivity - In every race, remember where and why  you started every time you feel like giving up. The reason we live is to be useful and make a difference. To live life. To be happy in our skin.

“Beauty shouldn’t be about changing yourself to achieve an ideal or be more socially acceptable. Real beauty, the interesting, truly pleasing kind, is about honoring the beauty within you and without you. It’s about knowing that someone else’s definition of pretty has no hold over you.”
― Golda Poretsky

Resilient - Shaun Hick once said, “You need to spend time crawling alone through shadows to truly appreciate what it is to stand in the sun.”We all have had those tough times, springing back more powerful and bold is what counts. Your company molds you or breaks you. Choose to have people around you that uplift and criticize positively.

Sparkle - Radiate as much positive vibes as you can. We are all stars in all unique ways. We fall, we crawl, we learn...we shine. Have you watched Sparkle the movie that features the legend Whitney Houston? I loved every bit of the movie.

Truth - A five letter word with a lot of oomph. It all starts from you as an individual, be true to yourself first. Love and embrace. Then love some more and embrace some more, that way the passion and drive come from you.

Unassailable - Truth be told, if you are confident with yourself and you are truly happy about it, you tend to grow a thick skin. Anything that doesn't speak life and truth can never break you.

Voguish - Curvy girls are always chic and fashionable. Our different styles and personality allow us to stand out as individuals. Confidence being the biggest asset we own.

Warriors - Nothing is impossible unless you don't try.

YOLO - Life is too short. Live in the moment. Be the moment. Carpe diem!!

Zero - If i could sum up my life as a plus size in three words, that would be ' Plus is Fabulous'. Stick and stones may break your bones, so will negativity and hate. Embrace self love, self acceptance...you are imperfect, permanently and inevitably flawed. You, yes you, you are beautiful. Leave room for zero hate and negative energy.

  9. This post is absolutely fantastic, Wairimu! There is so much negativity out there-- body shaming, policing, women pitted against one another for their appearance-- I love how you took the opportunity to spread positivity and celebration towards women's bodies. Bravo!
